Cat Atom – Artist Bio

Contemporary conceptual, theoretical artist, and futurist Cassondra—known professionally as Cat Atom—crafts revelations at the edge of reality, where theoretical physics collides with raw creative force. Her visionary abstractions transform the invisible architecture of the universe—gravity, electromagnetism, quantum interference—into visceral encounters with form, color, and resonance. A synesthetic thinker, she channels scientific inquiry into artistic language, turning equations into emotion and entropy into aesthetic.

In 2025, Cat Atom was selected as a featured artist for Creative Switzerland’s “Future of Humanity” exhibition, first presented during the World Economic Forum’s Art Walk in Davos and continuing as a major installation during Art Basel Week in the city of Basel. Presented alongside global visionaries at the intersection of innovation and cultural transformation, her inclusion in this prestigious international program underscores her position as a voice for the future of contemporary art.

Cat Atom is currently developing Brevity and the Infinite, a “theory of everything” in poetic form—an ambitious literary work exploring quantum mechanics, entropy, neuroplasticity, and love. In parallel, she is conducting intensive research for Zero Relativity, a future installation that applies real-world diamagnetic levitation, biomorphic geometry, and magnetic field generation to create an immersive experience where physics becomes physically felt. Together, these projects exemplify her devotion to building an art practice that is as intellectually rigorous as it is emotionally charged.

She envisions launching a new artistic movement to mark the centennial of quantum mechanics’ 1925 discovery—an era-defining response to a scientific revolution that has yet to find its rightful mirror in art history. Just as Impressionism responded to the rise of optics and Modernism to the industrial machine, Cat Atom seeks to usher in a visual language for the quantum age: one that reflects the uncertainty, simultaneity, and sublime precision shaping our digital and post-reality world.

Her work has already received rarefied recognition. One of her paintings will launch aboard the AstroLab FLIP Moon rover in collaboration with LifeShips Luna Gallery, establishing her practice in both Earth-bound and celestial contexts. She is also exploring metal fabrication through CAD, AI-assisted modeling, and design engineering, creating sculpture that merges organic pattern systems with advanced physics.

As an autodidact, she is actively self-teaching higher mathematics and physics, grounding her conceptual work in authentic research. Her educational background includes Modern and Contemporary Art Studies at MoMA, European Art History at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and Fine Art training through New Masters Academy—a triad that allows her to situate radical ideas within classical and contemporary lineage.

Cat Atom’s perspective is also shaped by firsthand experience within the contemporary art world. She apprenticed under Kelly “Risk” Graval, a pivotal figure in post-graffiti fine art, where she gained behind-the-scenes mastery over the business of art—cataloging multimillion-dollar collections, working with high-profile collectors, and supporting internationally renowned artists. Now, after years in the shadows, she steps forward not only as a painter and sculptor, but as a philosopher of form—an artist whose work carries the weight of an idea poised to reshape art history.

Her mission transcends aesthetics. She creates for the curious—for women in STEM, for neurodivergent minds, for those whose trauma or difference have kept them outside institutional gates. Through her work, she affirms that creativity is not just expression—it is survival. It is structure. It is the original field from which both atoms and art emerge.

"Without creativity, we would all be universal constants."
